Photo of the Day #2

Today I was resting my wrist as much as possible. All the crocheting, harping, and fruit slicing I’ve done lately have taken their toll on my left hand. I had no idea how much I use my left hand until now. I’m right-handed, but I toss laundry in the dryer with my left hand. I take the fruit slices from cutting board to freezer or dryer tray with my left hand. Most of the hand motion of snapping off bean stems comes from my left hand.

So, today I took a (mostly) break. I did slice some nectarines and wash a mountain of dishes, but I’ve rested up quite a bit. Mr Pine Nut spent the morning drying tomatoes and pears over in the house, and kept the girls with him, and Lou Who fell asleep while he was over there.

louwhoYes. She really does sleep with her eyes partly open. It’s impressively creepy.

  1. I remember that my daughter would sleep in exactly the same position (Most babies probably do?), also with eyes open. I could watch her for hours.
